# Why does my booking page show no available times?

> For anyone whose TrackHeros booking link shows a candidate or client no times, or says availability cannot be loaded: the seven usual causes, from availability hours and minimum notice to a Google or Microsoft calendar that needs reconnecting, and how to check each from the link's own page.

**In short:** A TrackHeros booking page shows no times when the link's rules leave none — hours, minimum notice, date range, daily limit or buffers — or when every remaining time is busy on a checked calendar. If it says availability cannot be loaded, a Google or Microsoft calendar it checks could not be read, and the page offers nothing rather than risk a double booking.

| Fact | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| Rules that remove times | Hours, notice, range, daily limit, buffers |
| When a calendar cannot be read | No times are offered, and you get an alert |
| Where to check | Account alerts, then Preview beside the link under Bookings |

A TrackHeros booking page shows no times for one of two reasons: the link's own rules leave none, or a calendar it checks could not be read. The page tells the two apart. "No times this month" means the rules or your calendars are full; "availability can't be loaded right now" means a calendar did not answer. This answer is for anyone sharing a booking link on Google or Microsoft calendars who has heard from someone that the page is empty.

## Is the page empty, or does it say availability can't be loaded?

They are different problems. An empty month means TrackHeros read every calendar and found no time that fits the link's rules. "Availability can't be loaded" means one of the link's calendars could not be read at all — Google or Microsoft did not answer, or the account needs reconnecting — and the page offers nothing rather than offer times worked out from some of your calendars and not the others.

In the second case you also get an alert in TrackHeros naming the link and the reason. Reconnect the calendar it names and the times come back.

## Which rules can leave a page empty?

Seven things remove times, and they add up:

| Cause | What to check on the link |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Availability hours | The schedule's weekly hours, and any dates blocked in it |
| Minimum notice | A notice of several days empties the near future |
| Date range | A fixed range in the past, or a rolling window that is too short |
| Daily limit | Days that already have that many bookings offer nothing |
| Buffers | Long buffers around short gaps leave no room |
| Appointment length | A two-hour appointment does not fit a ninety-minute range |
| Busy calendars | Every remaining time is busy on at least one checked calendar |

Preview, beside the link under Bookings in TrackHeros, opens the page exactly as a visitor sees it. Change one setting at a time and reload it.

## Could it be the time zone?

Rarely, but it can look like it. Hours are set in the schedule's time zone and each visitor sees them converted to their own, so nine to five in London appears as eleven to seven to someone in Beirut. The times are shifted, not removed. If a visitor says the times look wrong rather than missing, check the schedule's time zone, and use the locked time zone option for in-person appointments.

## Why would a link stop taking bookings altogether?

When the calendar it writes into can no longer be used. If that calendar is disconnected, or loses the write access you granted, the link stops taking bookings and its page answers that it is not available. Losing write access also raises an alert. Choose a calendar that works on the link's page, grant write access if asked, and save; the link resumes.

A link you switched off answers that it is not available too. A secret link still works by its own address, but it is not listed on your main booking page, so someone who only has that page will not find it.

## What should I check first?

Your alerts, then the preview. An alert means a calendar to reconnect or a link to fix; no alert means the rules, and previewing the page while you change them shows which one is doing it. Every setting a link has is explained on the [booking links page](/features/booking-links/), and what disconnecting a calendar does elsewhere in TrackHeros is in [what happens when you disconnect a calendar](/answers/what-happens-when-you-disconnect-a-calendar/).
