# How do I undo a change the AI made to a meeting tracker?

> For anyone whose TrackHeros tracker took a change from a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting that they want back: how to undo a value the AI applied, restore an older value, reject a change before it lands, take back your own edit, and what cannot be undone.

**In short:** Open the cell's history in the TrackHeros tracker and choose Undo on the value the AI applied from a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting. It is marked undone, the cell goes back to the value before it, and it does not return when that meeting is read again. Restore puts any older value back as the current one. Nothing in the history is deleted.

| Fact | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| Undo | For a value the AI applied; it does not return on a re-read |
| Restore | Puts an older value back as current, as a new history entry |
| Before it lands | Reject it in the review queue |
| Cannot be undone | Deleting a tracker |

Every change a tracker makes can be reversed, and reversing one does not erase the record of it. This answer is for freelancers and consultants using TrackHeros on Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings who accepted a change, or let a tracker apply one on its own, and want the old value back. The feature is on [trackers](/features/trackers/).

## How do I undo a value the AI applied?

Open the cell's history and choose **Undo** on the value. It is marked as undone, the cell goes back to the value it held before, and the undone value stays visible in the history with its meeting and quote.

Undo sticks. If the same meeting is read again, the undone value is not proposed a second time. Anyone who can review the tracker can undo a change in it.

## How do I put an older value back?

Choose **Restore** on any earlier value in the cell's history. It becomes the current value again, and the history gains a new entry saying it was restored, rather than losing the entries in between.

A value kept only in the history, such as one from an older meeting that was read after a newer one, can be made the current value in the same place. If you have changed the column's type since, and the old value no longer fits it, the restore is refused rather than storing a value of the wrong type.

## Can I stop a change before it lands?

Yes, and by default every change waits for you. New and changed values sit in the review queue, grouped by meeting, until you accept them, correct and then accept them, or reject them; a rejected value does not come back when the same meeting is read again.

A proposed new row can be rejected the same way, and a rejected row can be brought back to review later if you change your mind. Why a particular value is waiting is explained in [why is a tracker value waiting for review?](/answers/why-is-a-tracker-value-waiting-for-review/)

## Can I undo an edit I made by hand?

Yes: restore the value that was there before from the cell's history. Your edit stays in the history as a step, marked as set by you.

While your edit is the current value, the cell is protected, and a later meeting's change to it goes to review instead of replacing it. More in [can I edit a tracker cell by hand?](/answers/edit-a-tracker-cell-by-hand/). When two meetings disagree rather than one being wrong, [what happens when two meetings disagree](/answers/what-happens-when-two-meetings-disagree/) explains which value the table keeps.

## What cannot be undone?

Deleting a tracker. It removes the table and every value and quote in it for good; to stop a tracker without losing its history, archive it instead.

Deleting a client deletes its trackers, and deleting the account deletes everything. Backups are covered in the [privacy statements](/#privacy).
