# What happens to meeting trackers when you delete a client?

> For freelancers and consultants ending work with a client whose Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings fed TrackHeros trackers: what deleting the client removes from them, what happens to a tracker that covers all your clients, how to delete or archive a single tracker instead, what archiving a client keeps, and which copies deletion cannot reach.

**In short:** Deleting a client in TrackHeros deletes that client's trackers with it: every table, value, quote, history entry and waiting review built from its Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings, along with the meetings themselves. A tracker that covers all your clients loses only that client's table. Other clients' tables are untouched, and deleting your account deletes every tracker.

| Fact | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| The client's trackers | Deleted with the client |
| A tracker covering all clients | Loses that client's table only |
| One tracker on its own | Can be deleted, or archived to keep it |
| Your account | Deleting it deletes every tracker |
| Downloaded CSV files | Not reached; yours to delete |

When you delete a client in TrackHeros, its trackers go with it, down to the last quote. This answer is for freelancers and consultants ending work with a client whose Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls fed one or more trackers, the tables that fill themselves from meetings, and who need to say what is left afterwards. TrackHeros is an AI meeting notetaker that connects every Google and Microsoft calendar you hold, recognises close to 100 spoken languages on its own, writes the notes in nine of them, and keeps every client's notes in a sealed workspace of its own. The feature is on [trackers](/features/trackers/).

## What does deleting a client remove from its trackers?

Everything. Every tracker belongs to one client's sealed workspace, so the deletion that erases the client's meetings, transcripts, summaries and recordings erases its trackers in the same pass:

| Part of a tracker | After the client is deleted |
| ------------------------------------------ | --------------------------- |
| The table, its rows and current values | Erased |
| Every earlier value in each cell's history | Erased |
| Quotes, speakers and links to moments | Erased |
| Values waiting for review | Erased |
| Alerts about changes to review | Erased |

You confirm by typing the client's name. The rest of what goes, and from which stores, is set out in [what happens to recordings when you delete a client](/answers/what-happens-to-recordings-when-you-delete-a-client/).

## What happens to a tracker that covers all my clients?

It loses that client's table and keeps the rest. A tracker set to all your clients is one definition with a separate table for each client, and rows from two clients were never merged, even when they had the same name. Deleting one client removes its table; the definition and every other client's table stay as they were. Why the tables are kept apart is on [client workspaces that never mix](/features/client-isolation/) and [tracking across all your clients](/answers/track-across-all-my-clients/).

## Can I delete one tracker and keep the client?

Yes. Deleting a tracker deletes its table and every value and quote it held, for good, while the client's meetings and their notes stay. If you want to keep the table but stop it reading new meetings, archive it instead; an archived tracker keeps everything and can be brought back. On a tracker that covers all your clients, deleting or archiving it applies to every client's table, not only this client's. Deleting or archiving a tracker is for the person who made it, or an admin on a company account, as [who can see a tracker](/answers/who-can-see-a-tracker/) explains.

## What about backups and downloaded copies?

Backup copies follow the same rule as the rest of the client's data, which the [privacy statements](/#privacy) set out. Deleting your whole account deletes every tracker on every client under the same rule.

Copies that left TrackHeros are not reached. A tracker you exported as CSV, as described in [exporting a tracker to CSV](/answers/export-a-tracker-to-csv/), is a file on your computer, and rows you pasted into a spreadsheet or an email are yours to delete. So is anything a connected assistant app such as Claude or ChatGPT was sent when you asked it about a tracker; that lives in the app's own history.

## Does archiving a client delete its trackers?

No. Archiving a client keeps its data, trackers included; only deleting erases it. Disconnecting one of the client's calendars deletes nothing either: it stops the sync, and the meetings already recorded and the trackers they fed stay, as [what happens when you disconnect a calendar](/answers/what-happens-when-you-disconnect-a-calendar/) explains.
