# AI notetaker for meetings in Arabic, with the notes written in Arabic

> TrackHeros is an AI notetaker that recognises a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting held in Arabic — in a dialect, in the standard, or switching to English mid-sentence — transcribes it from the recording, and writes the summary, decisions, action items and minutes in Arabic or in English, with Arabic exports laid out right to left.

**In short:** TrackHeros detects a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting held in Arabic on its own, including one that switches between Arabic and English inside a sentence, and transcribes it from the recording. The summary, decisions, action items and minutes can be written in Arabic, under the heading "محضر اجتماع", and Arabic exports read right to left; the transcript is rendered into English line by line.

| Fact | Detail |

TrackHeros is an AI meeting notetaker that connects every Google and Microsoft calendar you hold, recognises close to 100 spoken languages on its own, writes the notes in nine of them, and keeps every client's notes in a sealed workspace of its own. Arabic is one of the nine, and the only one written right to left. This page is for anyone whose clients, candidates or colleagues meet in Arabic — in Beirut, Amman, Cairo, Riyadh or Dubai — and especially for teams whose sentences start in Arabic and end in English.

## Does TrackHeros work for meetings held in Arabic?

Yes. A Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting held in Arabic is recognised as Arabic and transcribed from the recording, whether it is held entirely in Arabic or switches to English for the technical words. Nothing has to be set first: the language is worked out from each meeting.

The captions the platform shows during the call are decoded as English, so they are not what an Arabic meeting's notes are written from. A short sample of the audio names the languages actually spoken, and any meeting that is not in English alone gets a full pass over the recording. That pass produces the transcript the notes come from. [How automatic language detection works](/features/automatic-language-detection/) covers each step.

## Can the meeting notes be written in Arabic?

Yes. Choose Arabic for your whole account, for one client whose team works in Arabic, for a recurring meeting, or for a single call. The most specific setting wins, and the meeting page says which one decided. "Same as the meeting" gives a call held mostly in Arabic its notes in Arabic and leaves an English call under the same client in English. A meeting that has already been summarised can have its notes rewritten in Arabic afterwards.

The notes are written in Arabic from the English transcript. They summarise what was agreed and who owns it; they are not a quotation of the Arabic that was spoken.

## What do the exported minutes look like in Arabic?

The headings and dates are Arabic, and the page runs right to left. The PDF, the Google Doc, the Notion page and "Copy for email" use the same words:

| In English | In Arabic |
| ------------------ | -------------- |
| Minutes of Meeting | محضر اجتماع |
| Summary | الملخص |
| Decisions | القرارات |
| Action items | المهام |
| Owner | المسؤول |
| Due | الموعد النهائي |

A date reads الأربعاء، 21 أكتوبر 2026, with Western digits, as the app writes them. What the minutes contain, section by section, is on the [meeting minutes](/features/meeting-minutes/) page.

## What about a meeting that mixes Arabic and English?

That is the ordinary case, and it is handled in the same pass. In a working meeting the frame of the sentence is usually Arabic and the technical nouns are English, with Arabic articles and prepositions wrapped round them:

> خلينا نعمل deploy عالـ staging بكرا الصبح، بس لازم نعمل merge للـ branch أول.

Roughly: "Let's deploy to staging tomorrow morning, but we have to merge the branch first." Captions decoded in one language force the other language's words into their own, and the words they mangle are the ones the action items depend on. The pass over the recording works the language out as it goes, so "deploy" inside an Arabic sentence is a word, not noise, and the transcript renders the whole line into English. The [guide to Arabic–English meetings](/blog/arabic-english-meetings-transcription/) explains why single-language recognition breaks and what to check in a bilingual transcript.

A meeting that mixes Arabic with another language and no English — Arabic and French on a call in Beirut, say — gets the same pass, but it is not a combination TrackHeros has tested, so no claim is made about it.

## Does it matter which Arabic dialect is spoken?

Meetings are held in Levantine, Gulf, Egyptian or Maghrebi Arabic, not in the Modern Standard Arabic of news and contracts, and the dialects differ from the standard in the small words: negation, question words, how the future is formed. TrackHeros makes no claim about how well any one dialect is heard. When you check a transcript, the small words are the place to look — if "we will" and "we won't" have swapped, the sentence has changed meaning even though every technical noun is right.

## Is the transcript in Arabic?

No. The transcript is rendered into English line by line, each line keeping its speaker and timestamp, and the transcript page says so: "Translated to English from a conversation held in Arabic and English". The Arabic original is stored with each line, but the app does not show it. A line that fails to translate keeps its original words rather than disappearing. If you want Arabic on the page, the notes are where it appears.

## Do I need to tell TrackHeros a meeting is in Arabic?

No. Listing the languages a client speaks is optional. If you do list them, list all of them: a language left off the list is treated as less likely.

## What happens with a recurring meeting held in Arabic?

A recurring series remembers its language. A series held in Arabic, or in Arabic and English, gets the full pass over the recording every time. Only a series heard in English alone may use the platform captions, and a single Arabic sentence in such a series sends it back to the full pass at once.

## Frequently asked

**Can TrackHeros write meeting minutes in Arabic?**

Yes. Choose Arabic as the notes language for your account, one client, a recurring meeting or a single call, and the summary, decisions, action items and formal minutes are written in Arabic. PDF, Google Doc and Notion exports carry Arabic headings and dates, and the PDF reads right to left.

**Does TrackHeros handle a meeting that switches between Arabic and English?**

Yes. A sentence with an Arabic frame and English technical terms is read by a second pass over the recording, which works out the language as it goes rather than being told one. The transcript renders the whole line into English, and the notes are written in whichever language you chose.

**Does it matter which Arabic dialect is spoken?**

Meetings happen in Levantine, Gulf, Egyptian or another dialect rather than Modern Standard Arabic, and the dialects differ in the small words — negation, question words, the future. TrackHeros makes no claim about one dialect against another; when you check a transcript, those small words are the place to look.

**Is the transcript of an Arabic meeting in Arabic?**

No. The transcript is rendered into English line by line, and the transcript page says the conversation was held in Arabic, or in Arabic and English. The Arabic original is kept with each line but is not shown in the app.
