AI notetaker for meetings in Spanish, with the notes written in Spanish

TrackHeros is an AI notetaker that recognises a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting held in Spanish without being told, transcribes it from the recording, and writes the summary, decisions, action items and minutes in Spanish or in English — for freelancers, consultants and recruiters whose clients and candidates speak Spanish.

TrackHeros is an AI meeting notetaker that connects every Google and Microsoft calendar you hold, recognises close to 100 spoken languages on its own, writes the notes in nine of them, and keeps every client's notes in a sealed workspace of its own. Spanish is one of the nine. This page is for anyone who works with clients, candidates or teams in Spanish — in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, the United States, or on a call that moves between Spanish and English without anyone noticing.

Does TrackHeros work for meetings held in Spanish?

Yes. A Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting held in Spanish is recognised as Spanish and transcribed from the recording. Nothing has to be set first. A freelancer with a client in Madrid and another in Chicago does not tell either calendar anything: each meeting's language is worked out from the meeting itself.

The captions a meeting platform shows during the call are decoded as English, so they are not what a Spanish meeting's notes are written from. A short sample of the audio names the languages actually spoken, and any meeting that is not in English alone gets a full pass over the recording. How automatic language detection works covers each step.

Can the meeting notes be written in Spanish?

Yes. Spanish is one of the nine notes languages. Choose it:

  • for your whole account, if Spanish is your working language;
  • for one client, so a team in Bogotá gets Spanish minutes while your other clients get English;
  • for a recurring meeting, such as a weekly review with a Spanish-speaking product team;
  • for a single meeting.

The most specific setting wins, and the meeting page says which one decided. "Same as the meeting" gives a call held mostly in Spanish its notes in Spanish. The notes language is independent of the spoken one, so a Spanish call can just as well produce English notes for a colleague who reads English — notes in a different language from the meeting explains how the settings combine. A meeting that has already been summarised can be rewritten in Spanish afterwards.

What do the exported minutes look like in Spanish?

The headings and the date are Spanish too. The PDF, the Google Doc, the Notion page and "Copy for email" all use:

In English In Spanish
Minutes of Meeting Acta de reunión
Summary Resumen
Decisions Decisiones
Action items Tareas
Owner Responsable
Due Plazo

A date is written miércoles, 21 de octubre de 2026: weekday in lower case, with "de" before the month and the year. "Acta" is the word a Spanish-speaking client expects on a formal record of a meeting, which matters when the minutes are forwarded rather than read by you. What the minutes contain is on the meeting minutes page.

What about a meeting that mixes Spanish and English?

It is handled in the same pass. Engineering and product calls in Spanish carry their vocabulary in English — "hay que hacer el deploy antes del viernes, otherwise the client demo slips" — and teams in the United States switch for whole clauses. Captions decoded in one language force the other language's words into their own. The pass over the recording reads the switch where it happens, and the transcript renders the whole line into English. What happens when a meeting switches language mid-sentence walks through the mechanics.

A meeting that mixes Spanish with another language and no English — Spanish and Portuguese on a call between Montevideo and São Paulo, say — gets the same pass, but it is not a combination TrackHeros has tested, so no claim is made about it.

Is the transcript in Spanish?

No. The transcript is rendered into English line by line, and the transcript page says so in one line: "Translated to English from a conversation held in Spanish". The Spanish original is stored with each line, but the app does not show it. If you want Spanish on the page, the notes are where it appears.

Do I need to tell TrackHeros a meeting is in Spanish?

No. Listing the languages a client speaks — Spanish and English, for instance — is optional. If you do list them, list all of them: a language left off the list is treated as less likely, which matters for a client listed as English alone whose team sometimes switches to Spanish.

What happens with a recurring meeting held in Spanish?

A recurring series remembers its language. A series held in Spanish gets the full pass over the recording every time; only a series heard in English alone may use the platform captions. A weekly Spanish stand-up is therefore never summarised from captions that were decoded as English, and the notes come out in the language the series, the client or the account is set to.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can TrackHeros write meeting minutes in Spanish?

Yes. Choose Spanish as the notes language for your account, one client, a recurring meeting or a single call, and the summary, decisions, action items and formal minutes are written in Spanish. PDF, Google Doc and Notion exports carry Spanish headings, starting with Acta de reunión, and Spanish dates.

Can a Spanish meeting have English notes, or the other way round?

Yes. The notes language is a setting, not a copy of the spoken one. A call held in Spanish can produce English notes for a team that reads English, and an English call can produce Spanish notes for a client who reads Spanish.

Does TrackHeros handle Spanglish — Spanish and English in one sentence?

Yes. A sentence that moves between Spanish and English is read by a second pass over the recording, which hears both languages, and the transcript renders the whole line into English. The notes are then written in whichever language you chose.

Do I need to tell TrackHeros the meeting is in Spanish?

No. Each meeting's language is worked out from the meeting itself. Listing Spanish among the languages a client speaks is optional; if you list languages for a client, list all of them.
