AI notetaker for meetings in Ukrainian, with the notes written in Ukrainian

TrackHeros is an AI notetaker that recognises a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting held in Ukrainian without being told, transcribes it from the recording, and writes the summary, decisions, action items and minutes in Ukrainian or in English — for developers, agencies and consultants who work with Ukrainian teams and clients.

TrackHeros is an AI meeting notetaker that connects every Google and Microsoft calendar you hold, recognises close to 100 spoken languages on its own, writes the notes in nine of them, and keeps every client's notes in a sealed workspace of its own. Ukrainian is one of the nine, and the only one of them written in Cyrillic. This page is for anyone who works with Ukrainian teams — the developers, designers and product people in Kyiv, Lviv and Kharkiv who build software for clients abroad — and for the clients and agencies on the other side of those calls.

Does TrackHeros work for meetings held in Ukrainian?

Yes. A Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting held in Ukrainian is recognised as Ukrainian and transcribed from the recording. Nothing has to be set first: each meeting's language is worked out from the meeting itself, so the team's internal call in Ukrainian and the client call in English are each handled as what they are.

The captions a meeting platform shows during the call are decoded as English, so they are not what a Ukrainian meeting's notes are written from. A short sample of the audio names the languages actually spoken, and any meeting that is not in English alone gets a full pass over the recording. How automatic language detection works covers each step, and what to do when a notetaker detects the wrong language covers what to check when a meeting's language comes out wrong.

Can the meeting notes be written in Ukrainian?

Yes. Ukrainian is one of the nine notes languages. Set it for your account, for one client, for a recurring meeting or for a single call; the most specific setting wins, and the meeting page says which one decided. A common arrangement for an outsourcing team is English notes for every client call and Ukrainian notes for the team's own stand-ups — two recurring meetings, two settings. "Same as the meeting" does the same without being told, giving a call held mostly in Ukrainian its notes in Ukrainian.

The notes are written in Ukrainian from the English transcript; they summarise the meeting rather than quote it. A meeting that has already been summarised can be rewritten in Ukrainian afterwards.

What do the exported minutes look like in Ukrainian?

The headings and the date are Ukrainian, in Cyrillic. The PDF, the Google Doc, the Notion page and "Copy for email" use:

In English In Ukrainian
Minutes of Meeting Протокол зустрічі
Summary Підсумок
Decisions Рішення
Action items Завдання
Owner Відповідальний
Due Термін

A date is written середа, 21 жовтня 2026: weekday in lower case and the month in the form Ukrainian uses after a number. Digits stay Western in every language. What the minutes contain, section by section, is on the meeting minutes page.

What about a meeting that mixes Ukrainian and English?

It is handled in the same pass. Teams that build for foreign clients talk about their work in a Ukrainian frame with English terms — "треба зробити code review до релізу, then we can ship on Friday". Captions decoded in one language force the other language's words into their own, and a switch of alphabet as well as language is exactly where they fail. The pass over the recording reads the switch where it happens, and the transcript renders the whole line into English.

A meeting that mixes Ukrainian with Russian, or with any other language and no English, gets the same pass, but it is not a combination TrackHeros has tested, so no claim is made about it.

Is the transcript in Ukrainian?

No. The transcript is rendered into English line by line, and the transcript page says so in one line: "Translated to English from a conversation held in Ukrainian". The Ukrainian original is stored with each line, but the app does not show it. If you want Ukrainian on the page, the notes are where it appears.

Do I need to tell TrackHeros a meeting is in Ukrainian?

No. Listing the languages a client speaks is optional. If you do list them, list all of them: a language left off the list is treated as less likely, so a client listed as English alone whose team sometimes switches to Ukrainian should have Ukrainian on its list too.

What happens with a recurring meeting held in Ukrainian?

A recurring series remembers its language. A series held in Ukrainian gets the full pass over the recording every time; only a series heard in English alone may use the platform captions. A daily Ukrainian stand-up is therefore never summarised from captions decoded as English, and its notes come out in the language the series, the client or the account is set to.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can TrackHeros write meeting minutes in Ukrainian?

Yes. Choose Ukrainian as the notes language for your account, one client, a recurring meeting or a single call, and the summary, decisions, action items and formal minutes are written in Ukrainian, in Cyrillic. PDF, Google Doc and Notion exports carry Ukrainian headings, starting with Протокол зустрічі, and Ukrainian dates.

Does TrackHeros handle a meeting that switches between Ukrainian and English?

Yes. A sentence that moves between Ukrainian and English is read by a second pass over the recording, which hears both languages, and the transcript renders the whole line into English. The notes are then written in whichever language you chose.

What about a meeting that mixes Ukrainian and Russian?

It is detected and goes through the same pass over the recording, but a meeting mixing two languages, neither of them English, is not a combination TrackHeros has tested, so no claim is made about how it is transcribed.

Is the transcript of a Ukrainian meeting in Ukrainian?

No. The transcript is rendered into English line by line, and the transcript page says the conversation was held in Ukrainian. The Ukrainian original is kept with each line but is not shown in the app.
